The Italians from Alfa Romeo continue to work with police in Sydney, this time with the help of MiTo. The police received a car to draw attention to youth citizens.
Sydney Police received an Alfa Romeo MiTo for public campaign that aims the young Australians. The Sydnei Police’s goal is to promote the “safety roads” in the eyes of young people, who, lately, are getting hard to impress. The Italian model the police received is part of the cooperation that Alfa Romeo has with Police in Sydney, so far provided police with an Alfa Romeo GT. The Sydney Police received last year a Fiat 500, who became the most fuel efficient police car in Australia.
Bradley Shepherd, Sidney Police chief said that Alfa Romeo MiTo is the kind of car that attracts youths’ attention, allowing police officers to easier interact with them.
The previous Australian police campaign had the goal to teach young rookie drivers that real driving is not beginning in the moment you get you driving license. The promoters of the campaign wanted to emphasize that driving is a continuous process of learning which should make every driver more careful and skilled every day. The police used Alfa Romeo GT model which they received from the Italian automaker for better signal of where they occurred and to report accidents to the young who were to receive thorough first aid lessons and driving.
