Alfa Romeo has reached 2,700 orders

Alfa Romeo has reached 2,700 orders for their new hatch Giulietta on theItalian market. The explosive demand comes after a “Open doors” weekend.
The weekend just ended brought success on the market for the fresh released Alfa Romeo Giulietta. The hatchback could make contact with the public at an “Open doors” event which managed to achieve a positive balance for the Italianautomaker since the launch.
The 2,000 Alfa Romeo dealerships in Italy recorded 90,000 visitors and a total of 10,000 tests made by potential customers. Of these about 17,000 have expressed their desire to be owners of a Giulietta, while in 2,700 and have made already booked a hatchback for themselves.
After the first reactions, officials have learned that most wanted engines are the JTDm diesels in versions of 105 and 170 HP. The public in Italy also prefers the Distinctive equipment level, matched with the “ice” white color of the body. The press release issued by Alfa Romeo, the success of its newest model is due to intensiveadvertising campaign across Europe, and actress Uma Thurman picture association.
The launching of the new Giulietta generated and an increase of the official Alfa Romeo website, with 56,000 unique visitors, who browsed 870,000 pages and fully configured 8,000 virtual Alfa Romeo Giulietta copies.
